笔者认为，考生拿到作文题后，不要盲目下笔，要按审题、列提纲、扩展成文三部曲的做法来完成。
以ModernIndustry为题，写一篇不少于150词的短文，要求包括下列各点。
1）现代工业改变了我们生活方式。
2）现代工业污染了我们的环境。
3）现代工业带来的问题可以通过进一步发展工业来解决。
这是一个带来汉语提示的作文，如果我们将提示的文字译成英语，原先的三个提示就成了三个主题句。
1）Modernindustryhaschangedourwayoflife。
2）Modernindustryhasbeenpollutingourenvironment。
3）Theproblemmodernindustryhasbroughtaboutcanbesolvedthroughfurtherindustrialdevelopment。
